Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Air Force 1s remain in top condition, follow these guidelines:
- Break-in Period: Leather uppers may feel stiff initially. Wear them for short durations to allow the material to mold to your foot shape naturally.
- Cleaning: Use a soft-bristled brush to remove surface dirt. Wipe the leather with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid soaking the shoes or using harsh chemicals.
- Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent leather fading and cracking. Use shoe trees to help maintain the shape and reduce toe-box creasing.
- Protection: Apply a leather-safe water and stain repellent spray to protect against spills and light rain.
