Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Setting up your Star Cutouts Sailboard is straightforward and quick:
- Unpack Carefully: Gently remove the sailboard from its packaging. It will arrive folded flat.
- Unfold: Carefully unfold the cardboard cutout, laying it flat on a clean, dry surface if possible to ensure no creases are accidentally formed.
- Position the Stand: Locate the integrated easel-style stand on the back of the sailboard.
- Engage the Stand: Fold the stand outwards and down until it locks into position. This creates a stable base for the sailboard.
- Place: Stand the sailboard upright on a flat, level surface. Ensure the stand is fully extended for optimal stability.
Compatibility
This cardboard cut out is highly versatile in terms of decorative compatibility:
- Themed Events: Perfectly complements nautical, beach, summer, ocean, and adventure themes.
- Color Schemes: The primary blue color integrates well with white, red, yellow, and green palettes.
- Indoor Use: Ideal for indoor settings such as party halls, homes, offices, and retail spaces.
- Sheltered Outdoor Use: Can be used in very sheltered outdoor areas (e.g., under a tent, covered patio) where it is protected from wind, rain, and direct sunlight.
Care
To ensure your sailboard remains in excellent condition for future use:
- Handle Gently: Always lift and move the cutout by its sturdy sections to avoid bending or creasing delicate areas.
- Keep Dry: Cardboard is highly susceptible to moisture damage. Keep it away from liquids, damp areas, and high humidity.
- Avoid Direct Sunlight: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause the colors to fade over time.
- Cleaning: If dusty, gently wipe with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use wet cleaners or abrasive materials.
- Storage: When not in use, carefully fold the sailboard along its original creases. Store it flat in a cool, dry place, ideally in its original packaging or a protective cover, to prevent damage and maintain its shape.
