Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
Unroll the runner carefully in the desired location. Ensure the area is clean and dry before laying it flat. For longer-term installations or in high-traffic areas, consider using double-sided carpet tape to secure the edges and prevent movement. Ensure the runner is laid flat without any kinks or folds to maintain its appearance and prevent tripping hazards.
Compatibility:
This runner is designed primarily for indoor use on hard, flat surfaces. It is compatible with most subflooring, including wood, tile, and concrete. It is not intended for outdoor use where it would be exposed to moisture and extreme weather.
Care:
- Regular Cleaning: Vacuum regularly using a standard vacuum cleaner without a beater bar to prevent damage to the pile.
- Spot Cleaning: For spills, blot the area immediately with a clean, dry cloth. For tougher stains, use a mild detergent or a bleach solution (test in an inconspicuous area first). Rinse the area with clean water and allow it to air dry completely.
- Deep Cleaning: For a more thorough clean, consider professional carpet cleaning services. Ensure they are experienced with polypropylene carpets.
