Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup: To begin, fully charge the included EN-EL15c Lithium-Ion battery using the provided battery charger. Insert a compatible memory card (CFexpress, XQD, or SD/SDHC/SDXC) into the appropriate slot. Power on the camera by flipping the power switch. Follow the on-screen prompts to set the date, time, and language. Connect to Wi-Fi or Bluetooth if remote control or image transfer is desired using the SnapBridge app.
Compatibility: The Z 7II uses the Nikon Z mount. The included NIKKOR Z 24-120mm f/4 S lens is fully compatible. For F-mount NIKKOR lenses, the FTZ or FTZ II mount adapter (sold separately) is required.
Care: Keep the camera body and lens clean using a soft, dry microfiber cloth. For stubborn smudges on the lens, use a lens cleaning solution sparingly on a lens cloth. Ensure the lens cap is on when not in use. Clean the sensor only when necessary and with appropriate tools, preferably by a professional. Keep the camera within its operating temperature range (0-40 °C) and humidity range (0-85%). Always use the USB Type-C cable for charging or power delivery, and avoid exposure to extreme dust or moisture unless properly protected.
