Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup & Wearing
- Preparation: Ensure your feet are clean and dry. It's recommended to wear your preferred football socks for optimal comfort.
- Putting On: Due to the laceless design and adidas Primeknit collar, gently stretch the collar open and slide your foot in. The collar is designed to be snug for a secure, locked-down fit.
- Fit Check: The boots should feel snug but not uncomfortably tight. Your toes should lightly touch the end of the boot without being cramped. The laceless design provides a uniform, adaptive fit.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically designed for Firm Ground (FG) surfaces. This includes natural grass pitches that are firm, dry, or slightly damp. Using them on artificial grass (AG), turf (TF), or extremely wet/muddy soft ground (SG) pitches is not recommended as it can compromise performance, durability, and potentially lead to injury.
Care & Maintenance
- Cleaning: After each use, remove loose dirt and mud with a soft brush or damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these can damage the HybridTouch upper.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not use direct heat sources like radiators or hairdryers, as this can damage the materials and adhesives.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Consider using shoe trees to help maintain their original shape.
- Lacquer Finish: Be aware that the lacquer finish on the bottom of the ControlFrame 2.0 soleplate may wear off during play. This is a cosmetic change and does not impact the boot's performance or durability.
