Part of the innovative HM7000 range, the Next18-pin Bluetooth and DCC sound decoder is ready to plug into locomotives featuring a Next18 (NEM662*) socket. The Next18 socket is found in modern Hornby locos, many other locomotives in 00, H0 and some smaller scale locomotives. The decoder is designed to supply 500mA continuous load to the main motor and a peak demand of 1,000mA, making it highly suitable for most 00 and H0 scale locos. The decoder also has sound capabilities and comes with a high quality 'sugar-cube' miniature speaker. Control your locomotives in the palm of your hand on a compatible phone or tablet, untethered from a wired controller. Customise your locomotives with images, tinker, tailor & test settings on the fly to perfect your locomotive’s running style using the new HM | DCC app. Download FREE sound profiles for a wide range of locomotive classes and enjoy new updates, features, and functionality for no additional cost. WiFi connection is required for sound profile download. Functions with all NMRA compatible DCC controllers when set to ‘DCC Mode’. Functions with compatible phone or tablets when set to ‘Bluetooth Mode’. Functions with all DC controllers when set to ‘DC Mode’.
