Berger Undercoat - White - 750ml

This undercoat is suitable for both wood and metal surfaces, both interior and exterior.

Berger Undercoat is recommended for use with Berger Gloss and Satin paints. Always refer to the paint manufacturer's guidelines for compatibility.

The surface should be clean, dry, and free from any loose paint, rust, grease, or dirt. Sand the surface lightly to create a key for the undercoat.

Typically, one coat is sufficient, but in some cases, a second coat may be necessary for optimal results, especially on porous surfaces or when transitioning from a dark color.

Allow each coat to dry completely before applying the next coat. Drying times will vary, so refer to the product label for specific instructions.

Clean brushes and equipment immediately after use with a suitable solvent, such as mineral spirits.

Ensure adequate ventilation during application. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, such as gloves and eye protection. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.

Ensure the surface is properly prepared by cleaning and sanding. Also, check the product's expiry date and ensure the correct application method is followed.

Apply the undercoat in thin, even coats and use a high-quality brush or roller. Avoid over-brushing.

Ensure proper ventilation and that the application environment is within the recommended temperature range. Excessive humidity can also slow down drying times.
