Setup, Compatibility & Care
Getting started with your Beldray 2-In-1 Stick Vacuum is straightforward, and maintaining it is simple to ensure long-lasting performance.
Initial Setup
- Assembly: The vacuum typically arrives in a few easy-to-assemble parts. Connect the main body to the floor head and the handle. Ensure all connections click securely into place.
- Power Connection: Plug the 5-meter power cord into a suitable wall outlet.
- Mode Conversion: To switch from upright to handheld mode, locate the release mechanism on the main unit, typically a button or latch. Detach the handheld part to use it independently.
Compatibility
- Floor Types: This vacuum is suitable for all floor types, including hardwood, tile, laminate, and low-pile carpets/rugs.
- Attachments: The included crevice tool and brush tool are compatible with the handheld unit, allowing for versatile cleaning of various surfaces and tight spaces.
Care & Maintenance
Regular care will keep your Beldray vacuum performing optimally and extend its lifespan.
- Emptying the Dust Container: Empty the 1-litre dust container regularly, ideally after each use or when it reaches its maximum fill line. Press the single-button release mechanism over a bin for quick disposal.
- Cleaning the HEPA Filter: The washable HEPA filter is a key feature. To clean:
- Remove the filter from the dust container.
- Tap off any loose dirt.
- Rinse under cool, running water until the water runs clear. Do not use detergent.
- Allow the filter to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinserting it. Ensure it is bone dry to prevent damage to the motor.
- Cleaning Attachments: Periodically wipe down the vacuum body and attachments with a damp cloth. Remove any tangled hair or debris from the brush roll of the floor head.
- Cord Care: Always unplug the vacuum by gripping the plug, not by pulling the cord. Store the cord neatly to prevent kinks or damage.
