Product Care
Maintaining the pristine white canvas and platform sole is key to keeping your trainers looking fresh:
- Spot Cleaning (Canvas): For minor dirt or scuffs, use a soft cloth or brush dampened with a solution of mild soap and lukewarm water. Gently scrub the affected area in small circular motions.
- Deep Cleaning (Canvas): For tougher stains, a specialized canvas shoe cleaner can be used. Follow the product's instructions carefully. Alternatively, a paste of baking soda and a small amount of white vinegar can work wonders. Apply, let sit for 15-20 minutes, then gently scrub and wipe clean.
- Sole Cleaning: Wipe down the rubber platform sole with a damp cloth and mild soap. For stubborn scuffs on the rubber, a magic eraser can be surprisingly effective.
- Drying: Always air dry your trainers. Avoid direct sunlight or artificial heat sources, as these can cause the material to warp or yellow. Stuffing them with paper towels can help absorb moisture and maintain their shape.
- Avoid Machine Washing: It is generally not recommended to machine wash Converse trainers, especially those with platform soles, as it can damage the canvas, adhesives, and rubber.
