Ronseal Crystal Clear Outdoor Varnish is perfect for protecting and enhancing wood, maintaining its natural colour. It offers weather resistance and does not yellow over time. This varnish is rainproof within 1 hour. For best results, apply on a warm, dry day (above 10c) to clean, dry wood. It's recommended to wear a face mask to avoid inhaling dust during application. Preparation for stained or varnished wood involves sanding to ensure adhesion, followed by cleaning with white spirit and allowing it to dry. For new wood, light sanding and cleaning with white spirit before drying is recommended. Apply 3 coats, allowing 6 hours between each application. Lightly sanding before the final coat promotes better adhesion and a smoother finish. Coverage is 16.0m per litre. Application is via brush. Drying time is 1 hour.
