FAQs

Does the awning need to be wired into my home electrical system?

No, this model uses a solar panel to charge, making it an independent, off-grid solution.

Can I operate the awning without the remote?

The remote is the primary interface for the motorized system; keep it in a safe, accessible location.

What is the best way to clean the fabric?

Use a soft brush and mild soapy water. Avoid high-pressure washers as they can damage the fabric's integrity.

Is the awning waterproof?

The awning is primarily designed for sun protection. It is recommended to retract it during heavy rain to avoid water pooling on the fabric.

Can I install this on any wall?

It must be installed on a structurally sound wall capable of supporting the awning's weight. Consult a professional if you are unsure about your wall type.

Troubleshooting

Awning fails to extend or retract

Check the battery status of the remote and ensure the solar panel is free of dirt or obstructions that might prevent charging.

Motor sounds sluggish

Ensure the solar unit has received sufficient direct sunlight to charge fully and check for any physical blockages in the mechanical arms.

Pros and Cons

  • Convenient remote control functionality
  • Stylish and modern grey color fits most decors
  • Protects outdoor furniture and living spaces from direct sun

Cons

  • Solar performance may vary based on geographic location and sunlight exposure
  • Installation requires secure wall mounting

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Assembly is required, so ensure you have the necessary tools and a second person to assist with the mounting process. The awning is designed for vertical wall installation; always confirm that your wall structure is strong enough to support the weight of the unit before beginning. To care for your awning, regularly clean the fabric with a soft brush or a gentle solution of mild soap and water to remove debris. During winter or periods of extreme weather, it is recommended to keep the awning retracted to prevent damage from snow, ice, or high winds.
