FAQs
Is the Cloudvista 3 waterproof?
The standard Cloudvista 3 is designed for breathability and is not inherently waterproof.
Can I use these for road running?
While they can handle road sections, they are specifically engineered for trail terrain; consistent road use may wear the outsole lugs faster.
How should the shoe fit?
You should have about a thumb's width of space between your longest toe and the front of the shoe to account for foot swelling during exercise.
Are these shoes machine washable?
No, machine washing can damage the adhesive and structural integrity of the trainers. Stick to manual hand-cleaning.
Does this shoe provide arch support?
The Cloudvista 3 features a neutral platform designed to work with most foot shapes; if you require specific orthotic support, the insoles are removable.
Troubleshooting
Foot slipping inside the shoe
Adjust the lacing pattern to a 'runner's loop' at the top eyelet to secure the heel.
Debris getting trapped in the sole
Use a blunt tool or pressurized water to gently dislodge gravel from the CloudTec channels after outdoor use.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Improved comfort for long-distance trail running
- Responsive cushioning for a faster ride
- Durable build quality for outdoor use
- Stable support on varied terrain
Cons
- Optimized primarily for trails, less efficient on pavement
- Limited to neutral support profiles
- Grey colorway may show dust from trails easily
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Cloudvista 3 trainers, ensure you have selected your standard UK size for a performance fit. Before your first long run, wear the shoes during shorter walks to allow the foam to conform to your foot shape.
Care Instructions:
- Cleaning: Remove excess dirt after each run using a soft-bristled brush.
- Washing: Do not machine wash. Use a damp cloth with mild soap for surface stains.
- Drying: Air dry only in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can warp the materials.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place to prevent material breakdown.
