Optivent is a specialized ventilation technology integrated into the fabric to provide superior airflow, which helps keep you cool, dry, and comfortable by enhancing breathability during physical activity.

Its breathable, moisture-wicking properties and freedom of movement make it highly suitable for a wide range of athletic activities, including running, cycling, team sports, gym workouts, and general training where comfort and temperature regulation are important.

The shell is composed of 92% Polyester and 8% Lycra. The mesh sections are made from 82% Polyester and 18% Elastane. Note that the Grey Marl variant has a slightly different shell composition of 90% Polyester / 10% Lycra.

The rubberised grip hem is strategically placed to prevent the base layer from riding up or shifting out of place during intense movements, ensuring a consistent and secure fit, allowing you to focus on your performance.

This base layer is primarily designed for cooling and keeping you dry. Its Optivent technology and moisture-wicking fabric are optimized to regulate body temperature during exercise by promoting airflow and evaporating sweat, rather than providing significant thermal insulation.

The product care instructions specify 'Machine washable' and 'Keep away from fire.' For performance garments, air drying is often recommended to maintain fabric integrity, especially for LYCRA® and rubber components. Avoid high heat drying unless explicitly stated on the garment's care label.

Ensure you have the correct size. While LYCRA® provides flexibility, an ill-fitting size can still cause discomfort. Check care instructions; improper washing can affect elasticity and fit over time.

The rubberised grip hem is designed to prevent this. Ensure the hem is positioned correctly and is not folded or twisted. If the issue persists, inspect the grip for any damage or consider if a different size might offer a more secure and stable fit.

Wash the base layer promptly after use. Consider using a sports-specific detergent designed for activewear if odors persist. Avoid fabric softeners, as they can trap odor-causing bacteria and reduce moisture-wicking effectiveness.
