The MAP TKS G60 16m Pole is fully interchangeable with the MAP 901 model due to sharing the same mandrel. Compatibility with other MAP models may vary; always check specifications.

Each top kit features printed markers at specific intervals. These allow you to quickly set your rig to a desired depth or note the depth you are currently fishing at by observing which marker aligns with the end of your pole section.

The extra-long PTFE bushes provide a larger bearing surface for the elastic, reducing friction and wear. This results in smoother elastic deployment, better fish control, and increased longevity of both the elastic and the pole section.

The anti-friction finish is inherent to the pole's coating. Regular cleaning with a soft, damp cloth will help preserve its effectiveness. Avoid abrasive materials that could scratch or damage the finish.

The pole includes multiple top kits, a mini extension, and a cupping kit. While these are pre-fitted with bushes and pullers, you will need to rig the top kits with your preferred elastic and end tackle before fishing.

Ensure the pole is clean and dry. Apply a small amount of pole lubricant or polish to the male and female sections. Check for any debris caught within the sections.

Verify that all pole sections are correctly aligned and fully seated. Ensure no damage has occurred to the carbon blank. For longer lengths, consider using a higher-strength top kit if available.

Check that the side roller puller is correctly aligned and free of debris. Ensure the PTFE bush inside the top kit is smooth and free of damage. Adjust the elastic tension if necessary.

Gently remove the damaged bush and replace it with a new one. Ensure it is seated correctly and flush with the socket.
