Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging and ensure all parts are present: motor base, processing bowl, lid, pusher, S-blade, and shredding/slicing discs.
- Assemble Bowl: Place the processing bowl securely onto the motor base, twisting until it locks into position. A safety interlock mechanism typically prevents operation if not assembled correctly.
- Insert Blade/Disc: Attach the desired stainless-steel S-blade or the shredding/slicing disc onto the central shaft inside the bowl. Ensure it's firmly seated.
- Secure Lid: Place the lid onto the bowl, twisting it clockwise until it clicks into its locked position. The processor will not operate if the lid is not properly secured.
- Plug In: Connect the power cord to a standard electrical outlet.
Compatibility
This food processor is designed for a variety of food preparation tasks involving most common kitchen ingredients, including vegetables, fruits, nuts, and liquids. It is compatible with standard household electrical systems. Its compact design ensures it fits comfortably on most kitchen countertops, making it a good choice for kitchens with limited space.
Care & Maintenance
- Cleaning: After each use, turn off and unplug the appliance. Disassemble all removable parts (bowl, lid, blades/discs, pusher). All these detachable parts are dishwasher safe, making cleanup quick and convenient. For manual washing, use warm, soapy water and a soft brush for blades. Always handle blades with extreme caution as they are very sharp.
- Motor Base: Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Never immerse the motor base in water or any other liquid.
- Storage: Ensure all parts are thoroughly dry before reassembling or storing. Store the processor in a dry place, preferably assembled to keep all components together.
