The Barbour Ridge Ankle Wellingtons are designed for adult men who require a reliable and stylish solution for wet-weather conditions. These boots offer the perfect balance of ankle-height mobility and waterproof protection, making them ideal for casual outdoor activities or light garden work. While they provide excellent durability, users should note that as ankle boots, they are best suited for shallow puddles and muddy paths rather than deep water crossings.

Yes, they are constructed from high-quality rubber that is completely waterproof up to the ankle line.
The Barbour Ridge Wellingtons are true to size; however, if you plan to wear very thick hiking socks, you may want to consider your usual fit.
While they are very durable, they are designed primarily for light outdoor use and casual walking rather than demanding mountain hikes.
Clean them using a damp sponge and lukewarm water. Avoid using harsh chemicals or detergents that can dry out the rubber.
They will keep your feet dry in slushy conditions, but they do not feature specific insulation for extreme winter temperatures.
This is a common occurrence with high-quality natural rubber known as 'blooming,' which is a protective layer that can be easily wiped away.
Ensure the outsoles are clean of mud and debris; the tread pattern relies on contact with the ground to maintain grip.
Use a boot jack or simply apply pressure with the opposite heel to the rear of the boot while sliding your foot out.
This is a natural process called 'blooming.' Wipe the surface with a silicone-based rubber spray or a damp cloth to restore the shine.
These wellingtons are designed to be worn straight out of the box with standard cotton or wool socks. To ensure longevity, always wipe off mud and organic debris after each use with a damp cloth; allowing mud to dry on the rubber can lead to cracking over time. Store the boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or extreme heat sources like radiators, which can cause the rubber to degrade. If the boots get wet inside, stuff them with newspaper to absorb moisture and allow them to air dry naturally.
