The Dulux Colour Tester is designed for DIY decorators and homeowners looking to sample paint colours with precision and convenience. Its primary benefit is the built-in roller applicator, which mimics the real-world application of a full-sized paint job to provide an accurate visual of how a shade interacts with your lighting and décor. While highly effective for small-scale testing, it is important to note that these testers contain 30ML of paint and are intended strictly for sampling rather than covering large surface areas.

Each Dulux Colour Tester contains 30ML of genuine Dulux paint.
These testers work best on interior wall surfaces like plaster, drywall, or existing painted walls.
No, the testers contain the exact same Dulux paint as found in our full-sized paint range.
The testers are designed for single-use convenience and do not require cleaning; simply dispose of the unit after use.
These are primarily designed for indoor colour sampling; exterior results may vary significantly due to weather and lighting differences.
Ensure the cap has been removed and give the tester a gentle shake; apply light pressure to the roller to prime it before moving to the wall.
Press the roller firmly against the surface and move it in a back-and-forth motion to encourage paint flow from the reservoir.
Using the Dulux Colour Tester requires no additional tools or setup. Simply remove the cap and apply the roller directly to a clean, dry surface. For the most accurate result, it is best to paint a patch on a white piece of card or directly on the wall where you intend to paint. If applying to a wall with a dark base colour, you may need a second coat to ensure complete coverage for an accurate colour reading. To store, ensure the cap is replaced securely to prevent the paint within the roller head from drying out.
