The North Face Hooded Jacket - Blue

This jacket is designed for protection against wind and water. For very cold weather, layering with insulated mid-layers or a down jacket underneath is recommended.

Yes, the jacket can be machine washed at 40 degrees Celsius with a small amount of liquid detergent. Avoid fabric softeners and bleach.

The waterproofness can be reactivated by tumble drying after washing, or by applying a specific DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment spray, following the product's instructions.

DryVent™ is The North Face's proprietary fabric technology designed to be waterproof, windproof, and breathable, keeping you dry from the inside and out.

The inner mesh lining helps to improve air circulation and comfort against the skin, enhancing breathability without compromising the jacket's protective qualities.

The drawstring is located inside the hem of the jacket. Pull the toggles to tighten the hem for a closer fit and to block wind, or loosen them for a more relaxed fit.

The iconic North Face logo is located on the chest of the jacket in a contrasting accent color.

The water-repellent (DWR) finish may have worn off. Reapply a DWR treatment after washing and drying according to the product's instructions.

The fabric's pores might be clogged with dirt or residue. Wash the jacket thoroughly with a small amount of liquid detergent and ensure it is rinsed well.

Gently try to move the zipper. You can lubricate it by rubbing a graphite pencil tip along the teeth. Ensure there is no fabric caught in the zipper.

While the cuffs are designed for a snug fit, prolonged wear can slightly reduce elasticity. Ensure they are correctly positioned and consider if a smaller size might be more appropriate for a tighter fit.
