The KitchenAid K400 Blender is designed for home cooks who prioritize consistent, professional-grade textures in their smoothies, soups, and nut butters. Its primary advantage is the 3-part blending system that effectively pulverizes tough ingredients like ginger root and almonds, though users should note that the glass jar adds significant weight compared to plastic counterparts, which may impact portability.

Yes, the KitchenAid K400 includes a standard manufacturer's warranty. Check your regional packaging for specific coverage details.
The ribbed glass jar has a 1.4 L capacity, suitable for most family-sized smoothie or soup batches.
Fill the jar halfway with warm water, add a drop of dish soap, secure the lid, and select the clean setting on the dial.
Yes, but ensure you follow the soft-start procedure to avoid splattering and always start on the lowest speed setting.
Ensure the glass jar is firmly seated and locked into the base, as the safety interlock prevents operation if misaligned.
The mixture may be too thick. Add a small amount of liquid to assist the blades and allow the Intelli-Speed motor to regain momentum.
Stop the machine and ensure ingredients are cut into uniform sizes. Pulse the blender several times to redistribute contents toward the blades.
To set up your K400, place the die-cast base on a flat, dry surface. Ensure the jar is securely locked onto the base before turning the dial. For optimal performance, always load liquids first, followed by soft ingredients, and finally hard or frozen items. Regarding care, the jar and lid are dishwasher-safe; however, for longevity, a quick rinse with the self-cleaning cycle—using warm water and a drop of dish soap—is recommended immediately after each use. Avoid abrasive scrubbers on the glass jar to prevent micro-scratches. Ensure the base is unplugged before wiping the exterior with a damp cloth.
