The lava lamp requires a warm-up period of approximately 1 to 2 hours to reach its optimal operating temperature and begin the mesmerizing flow.
This lava lamp uses a G9 appliance bulb. A replacement bulb is typically available through the manufacturer or specialty lighting stores.
It is not recommended to leave the lava lamp on continuously for more than 8-10 hours. Prolonged use can shorten the lifespan of the bulb and potentially affect the liquid over time. Always allow it to cool down completely before turning it off and on again.
Cloudiness can sometimes occur, especially with older lamps or if the lamp has been shaken. While minor cloudiness may resolve, significant cloudiness might indicate the lamp has reached the end of its lifespan. Avoid shaking the lamp to prevent this.
Allow the lamp to cool down completely. Then, gently wipe the glass globe with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning materials, as they can damage the finish.
The Lava Lamp - Green measures approximately 14.5 inches in height and has a 20oz liquid capacity.
The liquid and wax are factory-sealed and not intended for replacement by the user. Tampering with the contents can damage the lamp and is not recommended.
Ensure the lamp is plugged in and the bulb is working. Allow at least 2 hours for the wax to heat up and begin flowing. Avoid placing the lamp near drafts or in cold rooms.
The room temperature may be too high. Ensure the lamp is not in direct sunlight or near a heat source. Allow the lamp to cool down and try again later. Check if the correct bulb is installed.
Cloudiness can occur over time or due to improper handling. If severe, the lamp may need to be replaced. Avoid shaking the lamp, especially when warm.
Check the power connection and try a different outlet. Ensure the bulb is correctly seated in its socket. If the bulb is old or burnt out, replace it with the specified G9 bulb type.
