The red Forgefix plugs typically require a 6mm masonry drill bit.
These expansion plugs are designed for masonry and brick; they are not recommended for hollow plasterboard or drywall.
No, wall plugs are designed for a single-use application to ensure maximum holding power.
They are compatible with most standard multipurpose, general-purpose, and coach screws.
This pack contains 50 red expansion wall plugs.
The hole is likely too large for the plug. Ensure you are using the correct diameter masonry drill bit for the red plug size.
Ensure the screw diameter matches the recommended size for the plug and that the plug is fully seated into the wall.
To achieve the best results, always drill a hole to the depth of the plug plus an additional 5-10mm to account for dust accumulation. These plugs are compatible with most standard threaded screws. To maintain the life of your fixings, ensure that you are not over-tightening, as this can strip the plastic threads. These wall plugs are designed for indoor and outdoor use in masonry, but should be kept in a dry environment if stored in bulk to prevent material degradation over long periods.
