Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove the sandals from their packaging.
- Adjust Ankle Strap: Before wearing, sit down and buckle the ankle strap around your ankle. Ensure it's snug but not too tight – you should be able to slide one finger comfortably underneath the strap. There are multiple holes for adjustment to find your perfect fit.
- Test Walk: Take a few steps to ensure the sandals feel secure and comfortable. Readjust the buckle if needed.
Compatibility
These sandals are highly versatile and complement a range of outfits and occasions:
- Casual Daytime: Pair with flowy midi dresses, sundresses, linen trousers, capris, or tailored shorts for a comfortable yet polished look.
- Relaxed Evening: Ideal with elegant jumpsuits, chic cropped trousers, or sophisticated skirts for dinner dates, garden parties, or informal celebrations.
- Color Matching: The neutral gold hue works well with pastels, earthy tones, classic black and white, and even vibrant prints.
Care
To ensure your faux leather sandals remain in excellent condition:
- Wipe Clean: Use a soft, damp cloth (preferably microfiber) to gently wipe down the faux leather upper and straps. For stubborn marks, a small amount of mild soap (like dish soap diluted in water) can be applied to the cloth, then wipe thoroughly and immediately dry with a clean, dry cloth.
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use strong detergents, abrasive cleaners, or alcohol-based products, as these can damage the faux leather.
- Dry Properly: If they get wet, allow them to air dry naturally at room temperature, away from direct heat or sunlight, which can cause the material to crack or warp.
- Storage: Store them in a cool, dry place, ideally in a dust bag or shoe box, to protect them from dust and prolonged exposure to light.
