Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging: the main unit, removable non-stick bowl, tempered glass lid, steamer basket, measuring cup, and spoon.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash the removable non-stick bowl, steamer basket, measuring cup, and spoon in warm, soapy water. Alternatively, these parts are dishwasher-safe. Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a clean, damp cloth.
- Placement: Place the rice cooker on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface away from direct heat sources and walls to allow for proper ventilation.
Compatibility
This rice cooker is compatible with standard household electrical outlets. It is designed to cook various types of rice, grains like quinoa, and can also be used for steaming with the included basket.
Care and Maintenance
- Cleaning the Bowl and Accessories: The removable non-stick bowl, steamer basket, measuring cup, and spoon are all dishwasher-safe for ultimate convenience. For handwashing, use a soft sponge and mild detergent to preserve the non-stick coating.
- Cleaning the Main Unit: Disconnect the power cord before cleaning. Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid.
- Lid Care: The tempered glass lid can be washed by hand or in the dishwasher. Handle with care to prevent breakage.
- Storage: Ensure all parts are clean and dry before storing. Store the cooker in a dry place. The built-in lid holder aids in tidy storage.
