Setup, Compatibility & Care
- Placement: Choose a flat, stable surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and moisture. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the freezer.
- Power Connection: Plug the freezer into a grounded outlet. Avoid using extension cords.
- Temperature Setting: Use the electronic controls to set the desired temperature. The recommended setting is typically around -18°C (0°F).
- Loading: Allow items to cool before freezing them. Arrange items to maximize space and airflow.
- Cleaning: Regularly clean the interior of the freezer to prevent odors and buildup. Use a solution of baking soda and water, and wipe down surfaces with a damp cloth.
- Defrosting: Manually defrost the freezer when ice buildup becomes excessive. Unplug the freezer, remove all food, and allow the ice to melt. Wipe the interior dry before restarting the freezer.
*Compatibility:* The freezer is compatible with standard household electrical outlets. Make sure the outlet is properly grounded. Avoid placing the freezer in areas prone to extreme temperatures or humidity.
*Care:* Avoid using sharp objects to remove ice. Never put hot food directly into the freezer. Check the door seal regularly to ensure a tight seal.
