FAQs
Is the hood removable?
No, the hood is integrated into the design and is not removable.
Can I machine wash this jacket?
It is highly recommended to follow professional cleaning instructions to ensure the duck down retains its loft and the coating remains intact.
What does the yellow tape represent?
The yellow elastic strap with hook is an iconic design element inspired by the parachute straps used by parajumpers.
Is this jacket suitable for extreme sub-zero temperatures?
While it provides significant warmth, it is best suited for moderate to cold winter weather. For extreme arctic conditions, additional heavy layering is recommended.
How do I choose the right size?
The jacket features a regular fit. You should select your standard size, keeping in mind that the insulation adds volume compared to a non-puffer jacket.
Troubleshooting
Down feathers poking through fabric
This is normal for high-loft down. Pull the feather back into the jacket from the inside rather than pulling it out through the fabric to prevent enlarging the hole.
Zipper feels stiff
Ensure no fabric is caught in the teeth and gently clean any debris from the zipper track.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
This jacket features a regular fit; it is designed to be worn over standard base or mid-layers without restriction. To maintain the performance of the duck down and the water-repellent coating, follow these care guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a professional dry cleaning service specializing in down-filled garments.
- Drying: If wet, hang the jacket in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can damage the down clusters.
- Storage: Store the jacket on a sturdy hanger in a dry, cool place. Avoid compressing the jacket in a vacuum-sealed bag for extended periods as this can reduce the loft and insulating properties of the down.
- Hardware: Wipe the zippers occasionally with a clean, dry cloth to ensure the two-way mechanism moves smoothly.
