Rainbow Chalk’s Barn Paint is a matte finish, water-based paint designed for exterior wooden, metal, plastic, and masonry buildings. It offers protection against mildew, mould, and UV sun rays. The paint is suitable for application on previously painted surfaces, including those coated with weathered bitumen sealants, tar, varnish, or creosote. Its tough and durable acrylic coating provides excellent colour retention and flexes with the underlying layer, reducing the likelihood of flaking or cracking. This water-based formula makes application and cleanup easy and is more environmentally friendly. It includes mould protection additives to combat damp and mildew caused by nearby planting, and water-repellent wax additives to prevent water seepage and internal dampness or rotting. UV ray protection resists sun damage and fading. It can be applied to various exterior surfaces such as buildings, fencing, and sheds.
