The adidas Duramo SL 2 running trainers are designed for beginner to intermediate runners looking for a reliable, lightweight shoe that transitions smoothly from daily training to 10k races. Featuring responsive LIGHTMOTION cushioning and a durable Adiwear outsole, these trainers offer excellent support and comfort for various surfaces, though they are specifically engineered for road running rather than technical trail terrain.

The Duramo SL 2 is best suited for short to medium distances, such as 5k to 10k runs. While comfortable, they may not offer the long-distance support required for full marathons.
Yes, their stable cushioning makes them great for gym-based cardio, though they are specifically designed for forward-motion running rather than lateral-heavy training.
No, they are made from breathable mesh, which allows for airflow but will let water through in heavy rain.
These trainers feature an 8mm drop, with a 31mm heel height and 23mm forefoot height.
The Duramo SL 2 follows standard sizing. It is recommended to choose the same size you typically wear in adidas running shoes.
Try a different lacing technique, such as skipping the eyelet where the pressure is felt or using a parallel lacing style.
Check the Adiwear outsole for debris or mud trapped in the tread patterns and clean with a stiff-bristled brush.
Use the final eyelet to create a runner's loop (lock-down lacing) to secure the heel more effectively.
To ensure the best fit, ensure you wear the same type of socks you intend to use for running when trying on the trainers. The lace-up closure allows for a customizable lockdown; tighten firmly across the midfoot but avoid over-tightening near the ankle to prevent restricted circulation. For care, keep the shoes in a well-ventilated area after use. If they become muddy, remove dirt with a soft brush and clean with mild soap and water. Never machine wash or tumble dry your trainers, as heat can degrade the cushioning materials and adhesives.
