Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Simply plug one end of the HDMI Type A connector into the HDMI output port of your source device (e.g., Blu-ray player, game console, computer) and the other end into the HDMI input port of your display device (e.g., TV, monitor). Ensure both devices are powered off before connecting or disconnecting cables to prevent potential electrical surges.
Compatibility: This cable is compatible with any device featuring a standard HDMI Type A port. It supports HDMI 2.0 features, making it suitable for devices designed for 4K resolution, HDR, ARC, and Ethernet over HDMI. It is also backward compatible with older HDMI versions.
Care: To maintain optimal performance and longevity:
- Avoid bending the cable sharply, as this can damage the internal wiring.
- Keep the connectors clean. If they appear dusty, gently wipe them with a dry, lint-free cloth. Avoid using liquid cleaners directly on the connectors.
- Store the cable in a cool, dry place when not in use, away from direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.
