Care Instructions
Proper care is essential to maintain the appearance and extend the life of your natural rubber boots.
- Cleaning: After each use, wipe down the boots with a damp cloth and warm, soapy water to remove dirt and mud. Do not use solvents or harsh detergents.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct sunlight, radiators, or other heat sources, as these can dry out and crack the rubber.
- Storage: Store your boots upright in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Storing them folded or creased can lead to permanent damage.
- Preventing Blooming: White powdery marks (known as 'blooming') can occasionally appear on natural rubber boots. This is a characteristic of high-quality rubber and is not a defect. To restore the glossy finish, wipe with a damp cloth or use a specialized Hunter Boot Buffer and shine spray (sold separately).
