Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: These trainers are ready to wear straight out of the box. Ensure you have selected the correct size for optimal comfort.
Compatibility: The Mexico 66 trainers are designed for general wear and are compatible with a wide range of casual and smart-casual attire. They are not intended for specialized athletic activities that require specific performance footwear.
Care:
- Cleaning the Leather Upper: Gently wipe the leather with a soft, damp cloth. For tougher stains, use a specialized leather cleaner, following the product's instructions. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Cleaning the Insole: The OrthoLite® insole can typically be removed and hand-washed with mild soap and water. Ensure it is completely dry before reinserting.
- Suede/Nubuck (if applicable): If any part of the shoe contains suede or nubuck, use a suede brush to maintain its texture and remove dry dirt.
- Sole: Clean the rubber sole with a damp cloth. For stubborn dirt, a soft brush may be used.
- Drying: Always air dry the shoes away from direct heat or sunlight. Stuffing them with paper can help maintain their shape and absorb moisture during drying.
- Protection: Consider using a leather protector spray to guard against water and stains, especially for lighter colorways.
