The Korsteel Stainless Steel Thin Mouth French Link Loose Ring Snaffle Bit is a thinner version of the traditional french link. This bit will suit your horse if he has a larger tongue or a small mouth which cannot physically accommodate for a thicker bit. The french link relieves pressure on the palate and bars of your horse's mouth which makes the bit more comfortable, as well as preventing the nutcracker action. The loose rings are ideal for if your horse tries to lean as the extra movement prevents him from grabbing hold of it. The thinner bit is also suited to horses who find it easy to lean on thicker bits. It is made from the the popular stainless steel metal which is durable and easy to wipe clean, and does not rust or flake. Size Guide Available in 5", 5.5", or 6". A mobile bit which discourages fixing and leaning on the forehand. Mild bit designed to allow the rider to have an independent control of each side of the mouth, preferable to horses with less palate clearance. Slightly thinner in diameter which helps to apply more direct pressure. The double jointed mouthpiece avoids the nutcracker action of a single joint.
