The Oxford Helio Helmet is designed for active kids who need reliable head protection while cycling, skateboarding, or scootering. Its standout feature is the full-coverage in-mold polycarbonate shell, which provides superior durability and impact resistance compared to standard foam shells. While it offers excellent ventilation and a comfortable, adjustable fit, parents should note that it is specifically sized for head circumferences between 52cm and 57cm, making it unsuitable for younger children or those with smaller head measurements.

The Oxford Helio Helmet fits head circumferences between 52cm and 57cm.
The peak is designed to be integrated into the helmet aesthetic and is not intended to be removed.
It conforms to the CE EN1078 safety standard.
If the dial is fully loosened and the helmet still sits high on the head or feels restrictive, it has been outgrown.
It is designed primarily for cycling, scootering, and skating; it should not be used for contact sports or climbing.
Ensure the internal padding is correctly seated and check that the child's hair is not bunched up underneath the rear fitment.
Verify that the webbing is correctly threaded through the buckle mechanism and ensure no fabric is twisted before locking.
Loosen the rear dial completely and ensure the internal adjustment cradle is sitting at the base of the skull rather than on the neck.
To achieve the best fit, start by loosening the rear dial completely. Place the helmet on the child's head so that the front sits level across the forehead, about two finger-widths above the eyebrows. Tighten the rear dial until the helmet is snug but comfortable; it should not wobble when the head is tilted. Secure the chin strap so that it lies flat against the skin, allowing just enough room for two fingers between the strap and the chin. To care for your helmet, clean the outer shell using only mild soap and water with a soft cloth. Avoid using harsh solvents or chemicals as these can degrade the integrity of the shell. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or extreme heat sources.
