The Ridgeline Monsoon Classic Jacket is designed for adult men who require uncompromising protection in harsh, wet, and windy outdoor environments. Its primary benefit is a high-performance 3-layer construction that delivers superior waterproofing and breathability, ensuring you remain comfortable during intense activities. While it offers exceptional durability and weather resistance, the robust materials may feel slightly heavy for those seeking a lightweight, packable jacket for casual urban use.

Yes, it is highly windproof and waterproof, making it an excellent outer shell. It works best when combined with insulating mid-layers to suit the temperature.
Machine wash at low temperatures using a specialized technical garment cleaner. Do not use fabric softeners or bleach.
The hood is a roll-away design, meaning it can be neatly stowed into the collar when not in use, rather than being completely detachable.
No, the jacket is designed with quiet fabric technology specifically to minimize noise during movement.
The jacket features a 10,000mm hydrostatic head rating, providing a high level of waterproof protection.
Use the drawcord at the waist, the adjustable cuffs, and the three-point adjustment system on the hood to customize the fit to your body.
The DWR finish may be worn. Wash the garment with a technical cleaner and tumble dry on low to reactivate the finish, or apply a spray-on DWR treatment.
Ensure you are not wearing excessive layers that trap moisture. The jacket is breathable, but if the internal temperature exceeds the moisture vapor transmission rate, condensation may occur.
To ensure the longevity of your jacket, always secure all pockets before washing. Use a technical detergent suitable for waterproof membranes, as standard soaps can strip the C0 DWR coating. If the water-beading effect on the outer fabric begins to fade, reactivate it by tumble drying on a low heat setting or using a dedicated DWR re-proofer. The jacket features a drawcord waist and adjustable cuffs, which allow you to layer underneath depending on the season, though it is designed to fit over standard base and mid-layers comfortably.
