Troubleshooting
Strap tension causes skin irritation.
Adjust the Velcro straps for a slightly looser fit or wear during shorter periods to allow the material to soften.
Sandals feel slippery when wet.
Ensure the footbed is clear of mud or silt; rinse the interior with water to restore the grip of the original tread.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Excellent grip on both wet and dry surfaces
- Quick-drying materials perfect for water sports
- Highly durable construction suitable for long-distance hiking
- Comfort-focused design with strategic padding
- Easy to clean and maintain
Cons
- Soles are relatively stiff compared to lightweight casual sandals
- May require a short break-in period for the straps
- Less cushioning than dedicated running shoes
Setup, Compatibility & Care
Getting the right fit is essential for performance. Adjust the straps starting from the ankle and moving forward to ensure the foot is centered on the footbed. Since these are high-performance outdoor sandals, they are compatible with most standard hiking socks if extra warmth is needed, though they are primarily designed for barefoot use. To clean, rinse with fresh water after exposure to salt or mud. Air dry in the shade to preserve the structural integrity of the polyester webbing. Do not machine wash or use harsh detergents.
