Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Air Force 1s remain in top condition, follow these guidelines:
- Breaking-in: As these are crafted from leather, they may feel slightly stiff out of the box; wearing them for short intervals initially will allow the leather to adapt to your foot shape.
- Cleaning: Use a soft-bristled brush to remove dry dirt. For the leather upper, wipe down with a damp cloth and a mild soap solution if necessary. Avoid submerging the shoes in water.
- Storage: Keep your trainers in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, which can cause the cream detailing to yellow over time.
- Protection: Consider applying a leather-safe water and stain repellent spray to protect against the elements and simplify future cleaning.
