Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Apple Devices: For one-touch pairing, simply turn on the headphones near your unlocked Apple device. Follow the on-screen prompts. Once paired, they will be available on all iCloud-synced devices.
- Android Devices: Use Google Fast Pair by turning on the headphones near your Android device. Tap to connect when the notification appears. They will also pair to any Chrome devices linked to your Google account.
- Other Bluetooth Devices: Turn on the headphones and press and hold the power button until the LED flashes. Select 'Beats Studio Pro' from your device's Bluetooth menu.
- USB-C Audio: Connect the headphones to your device using a USB-C cable for a direct digital audio connection. This also allows for charging.
- 3.5mm Audio: Connect using a 3.5mm audio cable for a wired connection.
Compatibility:
The Beats Studio Pro is compatible with any device supporting Bluetooth 5.3 or earlier, or via USB-C and 3.5mm audio connections. For enhanced features like Spatial Audio personalization and seamless switching, iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and watchOS devices offer the most integrated experience. Android and Chrome OS devices benefit from Google Fast Pair and the Beats app for Android.
Care:
- Cleaning: Gently wipe the earcups and headband with a dry, soft cloth. For stubborn marks, use a slightly damp cloth and allow to air dry completely. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Storage: Use the included carrying case to protect the headphones when not in use. Store in a cool, dry place.
- Cable Management: Utilize the carrying case's integrated storage for your USB-C and 3.5mm audio cables.
- Software Updates: Ensure your headphones are connected via Bluetooth or USB-C and check the Beats app (on compatible devices) for available firmware updates to maintain optimal performance and access new features.
