Setup, Compatibility & Care
To maintain the integrity of your jacket, always follow the care label instructions. It is recommended to wash the jacket in cool water with a technical detergent designed for waterproof gear to protect the ARED coating. Avoid using fabric softeners, as these can strip away the water-repellent finish. For drying, a low-heat tumble cycle can help rejuvenate the water-repellent treatment, though air drying is often safer for the fleece components. When storing, ensure the jacket is completely dry to prevent mildew. The jacket is compatible with standard layering systems; due to its generous fit, you can comfortably wear a mid-layer fleece or light synthetic jacket underneath on extremely cold days.
