Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before installation, ensure your wall surface is clean, dry, and structurally sound. If applying to exterior walls, verify that the substrate is free from loose mortar or debris. Use the provided primer to prepare the surface, which significantly improves the bond strength of the included adhesive. When cutting panels to fit corners or edges, use a diamond-tipped blade suitable for natural stone to avoid cracking or chipping the slate face. Once installed, the panels require minimal maintenance, though you may periodically clear away dust or cobwebs with a soft-bristled brush to maintain the slate's natural color depth.
