Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: To set up your Apple Watch Series 10, ensure it is charged. Open the Watch app on your iPhone and follow the on-screen instructions for pairing. You will need your iPhone nearby and Bluetooth enabled. During setup, you can transfer settings from a previous Apple Watch or set it up as a new device. You will also be prompted to sign in with your Apple ID and configure features like Apple Pay and emergency contacts.
Compatibility: The Apple Watch Series 10 requires an iPhone running the latest iOS version. It is not compatible with Android smartphones. Ensure your iPhone meets the minimum software requirements for full feature access.
Care:
- Cleaning: Clean the watch case and band with a soft, lint-free cloth. If necessary, dampen the cloth with fresh water. Avoid soaps, detergents, or abrasive materials. For the digital crown, gently rinse with fresh water and dry thoroughly.
- Water Resistance: The watch is water-resistant up to 50 meters (IP6X rating), suitable for shallow-water activities like swimming in a pool or ocean. It is not recommended for scuba diving, waterskiing, or other activities involving high-velocity water or submersion below shallow depth. Rinse with fresh water and dry after exposure to saltwater or chlorine.
- Strap Care: For rubber bands, clean with a mild, non-abrasive hand cleaner and rinse with fresh water, then dry thoroughly. Avoid exposing leather or fabric bands to excessive moisture.
- Charging: Use the magnetic charging cable provided. Ensure the back of the watch and the charger are clean and dry before connecting.
