Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setting up your Paoletti Galaxy Eyelet Lined Chenille Curtains is straightforward thanks to their eyelet design.
Setup Instructions
- Select Your Rod: Ensure you have a suitable curtain rod with a diameter that allows the eyelets to slide freely (typically up to 38mm / 1.5 inches). The rod should extend beyond the window frame on both sides to allow the curtains to stack back fully when open.
- Thread the Curtains: Slide the eyelet rings onto your curtain rod, alternating the direction of the front and back of the fabric for an even ripple effect. If you have two panels, thread them onto the rod from opposite ends, meeting in the middle.
- Mount the Rod: Secure your curtain rod brackets firmly to the wall above your window frame. Ensure the rod is level before placing the curtains.
- Adjust and Arrange: Once hung, adjust the folds evenly across the rod to achieve the desired look.
Compatibility
- These eyelet curtains are compatible with standard curtain rods designed for eyelet or ring-top curtains.
- They are designed to complement moody interiors and rooms where a rich jewel tone like green is desired.
- For a coordinated look, consider pairing with the Paoletti Galaxy cushion range.
Care Instructions
- Cleaning: The 100% Polyester fabric is super soft and durable, and designed not to stain easily. For general cleaning, a soft brush or a light vacuum with an upholstery attachment can remove dust.
- Stain Removal: For specific stains, gently dab with a clean, damp cloth and a mild, pH-neutral detergent if necessary. Avoid harsh chemicals or excessive rubbing, which can damage the fabric.
- Washing: Info needed: *Please refer to the care label sewn into the product for specific washing and drying instructions.* General care for polyester curtains often involves gentle machine wash on a cool setting or hand wash, but always check the label first.
- Drying: Air dry away from direct sunlight to prevent fading. Avoid tumble drying unless specified on the care label.
- Ironing: If creases appear, use a cool iron on the reverse side of the fabric, or use a steamer on a low setting. Always test on an inconspicuous area first.
