MET's best-selling kids helmet just got better. Inspired by their top trail helmets, it offers improved coverage, style, fit and comfort, plus all the features you'd expect and more. The in-mould polycarbonate shell with EPS liner provides extended head coverage for deeper protection. It features the MIPS-Evolve rotational management system to increase protection against certain impacts, and is exceptionally comfortable and secure thanks to its refined internal shape. The helmet includes an anti-insect net embedded into the front vents and has 13 vents with internal engineered air channelling for improved ventilation and comfort. The MET Safe-T JR Led Fit System comes with an integrated LED light. A 360° head belt avoids pressure points, and a reflective rear decal enhances visibility. The integrated LED light has 3 spotlights and a 40h lifespan. Straps have an adjustable divider for an individual fit, and comfort pads are hand washable. The helmet size is 52/57cm and it weighs 300g. MET's commitment to safety is evident, with all production batches of the Crackerjack Mips strictly tested in their lab. MIPS (MULTI-DIRECTIONAL IMPACT PROTECTION SYSTEM) is an accredited solution for managing rotational forces. MET invests significantly in safety research, collaborating with experts and engineers, and possesses a full in-house testing facility capable of simulating various impact types, including rotational impacts.
