Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Plan your desired border layout.
- Position the first edging piece along the planned line.
- Gently tap the integrated 8cm spikes into the soil using a rubber mallet or hammer until the top of the edging is flush with the ground or at your desired height.
- Connect subsequent pieces by aligning the edge and utilising the dual locking mechanism. Pliers may be helpful to ensure a tight, secure connection for a near-seamless finish.
- Continue this process along the entire planned border.
Compatibility:
This lawn edging is suitable for most soil types, including loam and clay. It is designed for use in garden beds, around pathways, patios, and lawns. Ensure the soil is not excessively stony or compacted for easiest installation. It is compatible with most standard garden tools for minor soil adjustments.
Care:
Clean the edging periodically with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or tools that could scratch the anthracite finish. In winter, ensure no heavy items are stored directly on top of the edging. The galvanised steel offers inherent rust resistance, but prolonged exposure to salt or harsh chemicals should be avoided.
