Setup, Compatibility & Care
Proper setup and regular maintenance will ensure your Ninja Perfect Temperature Kettle operates efficiently and safely for years.
Setup:
- Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials from the kettle and its swivel base.
- Placement: Position the 360-degree swivel base on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface, preferably near a convenient electrical outlet.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, fill the kettle to the MAX line with fresh water. Boil the water and then discard it. Repeat this process 2-3 times to cleanse any manufacturing residues.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard, grounded electrical outlet.
Compatibility:
- This kettle is designed for compatibility with standard household electrical power outlets.
- > Info needed: Always ensure that your local electrical supply voltage matches the specifications listed on the product label (typically 220-240V for 3000W appliances).
Care & Maintenance:
- Exterior Cleaning: Gently wipe the exterior of the kettle with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or scouring pads, as these can damage the copper finish.
- Interior Cleaning: For routine cleaning of the interior, rinse with fresh water. For more stubborn stains or mineral deposits, a solution of water and white vinegar (e.g., 1 part vinegar to 2 parts water) can be boiled in the kettle, left to soak for a period, and then thoroughly rinsed.
- Descaling: The removable scale filter should be cleaned regularly to prevent mineral buildup, especially in hard water areas. Descale the entire kettle every 1-3 months using a commercial descaling solution or a natural method (like vinegar). Follow the instructions provided with your descaling product carefully.
- Storage: Ensure the kettle is completely dry before storing it. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.
- Safety Precaution: Always unplug the kettle from the power outlet before performing any cleaning or maintenance.
