The Regatta Kielder IX kids' hybrid jacket in Pink is designed for active young explorers who need protection and comfort in unpredictable weather. Its key benefit is providing versatile warmth and water repellency without restricting movement, though it may not be suitable for very heavy rain. This jacket features a blend of durable, water-repellent polyamide panels and flexible Extol Stretch inserts, insulated with lightweight Warmloft synthetic fill for excellent compressibility and warmth.

The jacket features a water-repellent finish, which means it can resist light rain or splashes. However, it is not fully waterproof and may not provide adequate protection in heavy or prolonged rain.
The jacket is insulated with Warmloft, a synthetic down-touch insulation known for its warmth, lightness, and compressibility.
You should machine wash the jacket at 30°C with a mild liquid detergent, rinse thoroughly, and tumble dry on a low heat setting. Avoid using biological powder or bleach, and do not iron or dry clean.
The jacket provides good warmth for its weight and is suitable as a layering piece. For extremely cold conditions, you may need to add more insulating layers underneath or choose a heavier-weight jacket.
Yes, the jacket has two zipped lower pockets, providing secure storage for small items.
The Extol Stretch inserts are made from a flexible material and are placed in areas that require more movement, such as the sides or underarms. This allows the child to move freely during activities without feeling restricted by the jacket.
Yes, the jacket features a hood with stretch binding around the opening for a snug fit.
Ensure there is no fabric caught in the zipper. Gently pull the fabric away from the teeth. You can try rubbing a graphite pencil lead on the zipper teeth to lubricate them.
The water-repellent finish can diminish over time with washing. Follow the care instructions to wash and tumble dry; the heat from tumble drying can reactivate the DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish. For a more significant restoration, consider using a spray-on or wash-in DWR treatment suitable for synthetic fabrics.
Tumble dry the jacket on a low heat setting with clean tennis balls or dryer balls. This helps to break up any clumps of insulation and restore its loft and warmth.
Setup: No assembly is required. The jacket is ready to wear straight out of the packaging.
Compatibility: Suitable for children across various activities, from everyday wear to outdoor adventures like hiking and camping.
