Reissued in 2013, the Birdy wall light is part of Birger Dahl's award-winning modernist design series from 1952. Updated for contemporary use, Northern has taken care to preserve the original shape and highly functional features that first gave it international acclaim. Compact but striking, the Birdy wall light provides ideal task lighting thanks to its practical adjustable head, and choice of either a short or long arm. Crafted from aluminium, the shade comes in a black, grey or white finish, and the supporting structure comes in a choice of brass, black or steel. Perfect for any modern or contemporary interior, place the Birdy next to a bed, a sofa, an armchair or over a kitchen counter. Stylish Birdy wall lamp with brass and black. The Birdy wall lamp is ideal to illuminate larger hallways stylishly from the wall. A targeted illumination of certain corners or objects is also no problem thanks to a joint. The Birdy wall lamp has a projection of 53 cm and a height of 24 cm. The shade and the wall bracket are black, while the arm has the colour of brass. The Birdy wall lamp has a 200 cm long supply cable (black) with plug and toggle switch. Northern Wall light with plug Black Metal. Dimensions: Depth 53 cm x H 24 cm - Base: Ø 12,5 cm. Birdy is a table, wall and floor lamp series designed in 1952, in a modernist style. The lamp series was produced and sold by the Norwegian electricity company Sønnico (Oslo) for many years. In 1954 the table lamp, then known as "s-30016" was awarded the highly esteemed Golden Medal at the Milan triennale. In 2013 Northern Lighting decided to re-launch this design classic, taking care to preserve the original shape and highly functional features that at first made it such a well-loved light. The lamp series is available in off-white colour with satin nickel finish and matt black colour with blass metal finish. The shade of this lamp is completely painted in black (inside and outside). Only the arm of the lamp has golden color (brass). Wall lamp supplied with a cable endded by plug for main supply. Cable with on/off switch.
