Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Simply slip your feet into the slippers. No complex setup or breaking-in period is typically required, as the sheepskin lining molds to your feet for personalized comfort.
Compatibility
These slippers are specifically designed for indoor use on various common household surfaces such as wood, tile, carpet, and linoleum. They are not recommended for outdoor wear due to the nature of the suede upper and the indoor-focused outsole, which can be damaged by dirt, moisture, and rough outdoor terrain.
Care
To maintain the quality and longevity of your UGG Scuff Mule Slippers, follow these guidelines:
- Cleaning Suede Upper: Gently brush the suede surface with a dedicated suede brush to remove loose dirt and restore the nap. For tougher stains, use a specialized suede cleaner and protector kit, following the product's instructions carefully. Spot clean small marks immediately.
- Cleaning Sheepskin Lining: Spot clean the sheepskin lining with a damp cloth and a small amount of mild, wool-safe detergent. Gently dab the soiled area and avoid saturating the material. Allow to air dry naturally, away from direct heat or sunlight.
- Protection: Consider applying a suede and sheepskin protector spray before first use and periodically to help repel water and stains. Ensure the slippers are clean and dry before application.
- Drying: If your slippers get wet, stuff them loosely with paper towels or newspaper to absorb moisture and help maintain their shape. Allow them to air dry completely at room temperature. Do not machine wash, tumble dry, or expose to direct heat.
- Storage: Store your slippers in a cool, dry place when not in use, preferably in their original box or a breathable bag to protect them from dust.
