Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The Saucony Guide 19 requires no special setup. Simply try them on to ensure a comfortable fit. For optimal performance, ensure your socks are clean and free of debris.
Compatibility: These shoes are designed for road running and general fitness activities. They are compatible with most standard athletic socks. They are not designed for technical trail running or extreme weather conditions.
Care: To maintain the longevity and performance of your Guide 19 shoes:
- Cleaning: After runs, use a soft brush to remove loose dirt and mud. For deeper cleaning, use a mild soap and cool water with a soft cloth or brush. Avoid machine washing or harsh detergents, as this can damage the materials.
- Drying: Allow shoes to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not place them near direct heat sources like radiators or in a tumble dryer, as this can warp the shoe's shape and materials.
- Storage: Store shoes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. Ensure they are completely dry before storing to prevent odor and material degradation.
- Rotation: If possible, rotate between multiple pairs of running shoes to allow them to fully dry and recover between runs, extending their lifespan.
