Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Your Trespass Clea Jacket requires minimal setup. Simply adjust the drawcords on the hood and hem to achieve a comfortable and secure fit that seals out drafts. Fasten the button cuff adjusters around your wrists as desired. The removable hood and faux fur trim can be attached or detached using the integrated fasteners, allowing you to customize the jacket's look and level of protection.
Compatibility
This jacket is designed as an outer layer for adult females. It pairs well with various mid and base layers, such as fleeces, sweaters, or thermal tops, to adapt to different temperature conditions. The generous fit allows for comfortable layering underneath. Available in various sizes and colours, it can be matched to your personal style and layering needs.
Care
Proper care is crucial to maintain the waterproof and windproof performance of your Trespass Clea Jacket. Always refer to the care label inside the garment for specific instructions. General guidelines for polyester waterproof jackets include:
- Washing: Machine wash on a gentle cycle with cold water. Use a technical wash specifically designed for waterproof clothing to avoid damaging the waterproof membrane and DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish.
- Detergent: Avoid using fabric softeners, bleach, or harsh detergents, as these can clog or strip the waterproof membrane and DWR coating.
- Drying: Do not tumble dry on high heat. Air dry the jacket on a hanger, away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Tumble drying on low heat for a short period *may* help reactivate the DWR, but always check the care label first.
- Re-proofing: Over time, the DWR finish may wear off. If water starts to soak into the fabric rather than bead off, consider re-proofing the jacket with a spray-on or wash-in DWR product.
