Setup
- Sizing: Ensure you choose the correct size. Measure your foot and consult the Berghaus size chart. Consider trying them on with hiking socks for an accurate fit.
- Lacing: Properly lace the boots, ensuring a snug fit around the ankles and avoiding excessive tightness that could cause discomfort.
- Break-in Period: Wear the boots for short periods before long hikes to break them in, as new leather can be stiff.

The Berghaus Hillwalker II GTX boots are compatible with:
- Hiking socks for enhanced comfort and moisture-wicking.
- Various types of terrain, from established trails to rougher ground.

Care
- Cleaning: After each use, brush off dirt and mud. Use a damp cloth to clean the leather upper.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally, away from direct heat sources.
- Leather Treatment: Apply leather conditioner regularly to maintain the leather's quality and water resistance.
- Footbeds: Remove and clean the footbeds periodically to maintain freshness.
- Storage: Store the boots in a cool, dry place when not in use.
