Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation should be conducted using standard woodworking tools, though carbide-tipped blades are recommended for cleaner cuts on composite materials. Ensure that the trim is secured to the underlying subframe using color-matched stainless steel screws. When installing around windows, apply a bead of silicone sealant behind the trim before fastening to enhance weatherproofing. For care, simply wash the trim periodically with warm, soapy water and a soft brush to remove dust or organic matter. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners or pressure washers, which can degrade the surface texture over time.
